Sometimes that reason is real: the timing is genuinely wrong, or the thing doesn't fit who you're trying to become. But often the story you tell yourself about why you can't have something is worth examining more closely than the thing itself.

Maybe you're waiting to feel ready first. Maybe you believe you haven't earned it yet, or that accepting help or abundance means admitting you need it. Maybe you're protecting yourself from disappointment by dismissing the offer before it can be dismissed from you.

Today, notice what small opening you've ignored or minimized. What would it mean to take it seriously, just for an hour? Not to commit to it, but to sit with it as if it were actually meant for you.
