The Empress

The Empress asks you to notice what you're withholding from yourself. Not money or time necessarily, but permission: to rest without guilt, to make something messy and beautiful, to ask for help, to take up space. Nourishment isn't selfish. Your body needs food; your mind needs space; your creative work needs attention. The card doesn't promise that abundance will arrive — it suggests you're already inside it, and the question is whether you'll participate. What would shift if you treated your own sustenance with the same care you give to someone you love? Where in your life are you rationing yourself, and what would it cost to stop?
