The Devil

The Devil doesn't deal in force. It trades in small agreements you've already made — the ones so familiar you've stopped noticing them. Today, it asks you to look at where you feel stuck and ask a harder question: Am I actually trapped, or have I decided the cost of leaving is too high? This might be a relationship, a habit, a way you talk about yourself, or a situation you've told yourself you can't change. The Devil's real power is making captivity feel like the only sensible choice. Notice where you've stopped even imagining alternatives, where you've turned "I can't" into something that feels like loyalty or realism. You might find that what binds you isn't a lock but an agreement — one you can examine, and maybe renegotiate. What would you have to admit about your own role if you stopped blaming circumstance?
What The Devil tends to raise

- shadow self
- self-deception
