Ten of Wands · reversed

The Ten of Wands reversed asks you to notice what you're still lugging around — the projects, the worries, the sense that everything depends on you. This card often shows up when you're finally ready to put something down, but sometimes it appears to show you that you've been *choosing* the weight. Not out of duty alone, but maybe out of habit, or fear of what happens if you're not indispensable, or belief that asking for help is a kind of failure. The reversal isn't magical lightening — it's permission you're giving yourself to examine the load. What would it mean to delegate that task, or simply stop? Not abandon it recklessly, but hand it over to someone else, or let it go unfinished, or admit it was never yours to carry in the first place. The world has a way of continuing. You might be surprised what doesn't actually need you holding it up. What are you afraid would happen if you set one thing down?
