Six of Pentacles

The Six of Pentacles asks you to look at what's moving between you and others right now — not just money, but time, attention, skill, even listening. Notice what you're giving: is it coming from genuine surplus, or are you depleting yourself to seem generous? And equally, what are you receiving? Sometimes the hardest part of generosity is letting it flow both ways without keeping score or feeling indebted. The card doesn't ask you to give more; it asks whether your exchanges feel honest. Real reciprocity isn't tit-for-tat — it's a rhythm where both people feel resourced, not drained. There's an ease in true sharing, a lack of resentment afterward. If you find yourself giving with a bitter undertone or refusing to receive, the imbalance is worth naming. What would it take for you to feel the same ease in receiving as you do in giving?
