The Hierophant

The Hierophant asks you to look at the difference between wisdom you've inherited and rules you've swallowed whole. Traditions and structures aren't problems in themselves — they're how knowledge survives, how communities hold each other steady, how rituals become anchors. But somewhere in your life, you're likely following a practice, belief, or expectation without actually knowing why. Not out of malice, but out of habit. Today, pick one thing you do because 'that's how it's done' — the way you show up in a relationship, a professional setting, a family gathering. Ask yourself: do I genuinely believe this, or have I borrowed someone else's answer? The Hierophant isn't urging you to rebel against everything inherited. It's inviting you to become a conscious student instead of a sleepwalker. There's a real difference. What inherited framework in your life might be worth questioning, not to discard it, but to understand what you actually chose?
