Five of Swords

The Five of Swords asks you to sit with a win that didn't feel like one. Maybe you were right in an argument. Maybe you held a boundary, made a point, proved something true. And maybe afterwards there was silence where there used to be connection, or a hollowness where you expected relief.
This card doesn't ask you to regret speaking up or to soften what you know to be factual. It asks something harder: to look at what you were actually defending, and what the defense cost. Sometimes being correct and being kind are the same thing. Sometimes they're not.
The invitation today is clarity, not guilt. What have you won recently that left you feeling worse? Not because you were wrong to want it, but because the getting of it damaged something you valued more? What would victory have looked like if it also meant keeping what mattered?
What were you really fighting for?
