The Hierophant

The Hierophant asks you to look at the gap between inherited wisdom and unexamined habit. Somewhere in your life, you're following a practice, belief, or structure — maybe from your family, your field, your faith, or just 'how things are done.' The question isn't whether to accept it or reject it wholesale. It's whether you actually understand why it matters, or whether you've simply absorbed it without inspection.

Tradition can be deeply grounding when you've chosen it consciously. A ritual becomes meaningful when you know what it means to you, not just what it meant to someone else. A teaching carries real weight when you've tested it against your own experience.

Today, notice one inherited framework you're living inside — a way you were taught to work, love, organize your time, or show up. Ask yourself: Have I made this mine, or am I just following the form?
