The Star · reversed

The Star reversed isn't about permanent darkness — it's about the disorienting moment when you can't quite locate what used to guide you. Maybe a goal that once felt essential now feels hollow. Maybe you're between chapters and the old compass has stopped working before a new one appears. This card asks you to sit with that in-between space without rushing to refill it.

Loss of direction often arrives when something inside you has already shifted, even if you haven't named it yet. The cloudiness might be pointing to a belief or a path that no longer fits, not a failure on your part to believe hard enough. Sometimes we lose sight of something because we've outgrown it, or because it was never truly ours to begin with.

Today, notice what you're reaching toward in the dark. Is it the same thing you were reaching for a year ago? What would it mean to trust that this dimming has something to tell you?
