The Journal
A private record of the cards you draw and what you made of them. Nobody else can read it, you can take it with you in one file, and over time it starts to show you things a single reading never could.
A record, not a feed
When a card and a thought are worth keeping, you save them: the card, your notes, the whole Reflection Room conversation, or just a single sentence. Each entry keeps the date and the card so you can find it later, and the journal reads newest-first like a quiet log rather than a social feed. There's nothing to perform and no one else in it.
The value shows up slowly. One entry is a note. Ninety of them are a picture — and when the same card keeps surfacing in a season you didn't think was about that, the record is the only reason you can see it.
On your device, or across them
Without an account, your journal lives in your browser and never leaves it. Make a free account and it syncs across your phone and laptop instead, protected in the database by row-level security — a rule the database enforces on every read, not a policy we promise to keep. Either way it's yours: export the whole thing as a file whenever you want, or delete it and walk away with no forms and no waiting.
The honest limits
Saving is unlimited on any account, free or not — there's no cap on entries. The daily three-or-ten limit you may have read about is on the Reflection Room's AI replies, not on your journal. The one metered thing here is the monthly season reflection (the AI look-back over your patterns), which is once a month on a free account.

Questions about the Journal
- Where are my entries actually stored?
- Signed out, they live in your browser's storage on that one device and never reach our servers. With a free account they sync to a database (Supabase) where row-level security fences them off so no other user can reach them. Same journal either way — the account just adds the sync.
- Can you read my entries?
- We don't, and nothing we build reads them for us. Being straight with you: we don't encrypt them on your device, so we're not claiming we can't — we're telling you we don't, and the privacy policy says exactly what that means. No employee tool surfaces your entries, and they're never used to train anything.
- How do I get my data out, or delete it?
- Both live on your account page and neither needs our permission. Export hands you a single JSON file with every entry, readable without our software. Delete removes the account and every entry with it, immediately. Signed out, clearing your browser data does the same thing.
- Is there a limit on how much I can save?
- No. Saving is unlimited — draw and journal as much as you like. The only metered thing near the journal is the monthly “season reflection,” the AI look-back over your patterns, which is once a month on a free account. Writing and saving your own entries is never capped.
